Service Detail
At the Essential level, clients receive a foundational review of their digital footprint and exposure. This service focuses on gathering and verifying open-source intelligence drawn from publicly available information, breach databases, and historical records. Investigators will conduct structured background checks that cover personal identifiers such as full name, date of birth, addresses (past and present), phone numbers, email accounts, and associated domains. Where possible, these details will be corroborated with government and county records, voter rolls, or other open registries.
The Essential service also includes a dark web and breach intelligence sweep. Using reliable breach lookup repositories and curated leak databases, we assess the presence of email addresses, phone numbers, and associated personal accounts in historic or current compromise lists. Where accounts are identified, we consider the likelihood of password reuse, sim-swapping risks, or credential exploitation.
Social media presence is mapped to the degree available from public-facing profiles. This includes discovering visible accounts across platforms such as Facebook, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, and Instagram, along with any associated blogs or forums. Historical data such as old photographs, blogs, employment articles, or school and alumni records is also collected to show the longevity of an individual’s exposure online.
The final deliverable at this tier is a concise vulnerability summary highlighting the key risks identified and simple hygiene recommendations for reducing exposure. It is designed as an introductory layer of assurance for private clients, SMEs, or security-conscious individuals.
